BTI Systems Inc. designed and manufactured packet optical products for metropolitan and regional fibre networks. Juniper Networks acquired BTI in 2016 to complement an existing IP and Ethernet portfolio and develop the optical network segment in specific layers. BTI’s global customer base was significant with particular strength in the data centre segment for Cloud based services. Juniper markets routers, switches, and software defined networking technology. As an independent reseller,  DTC supplies spares from key hardware platforms within the portfolio that offer multiple networking solutions to clients globally.

• The BTI 7000 series of optical transport systems is made up of the BTI 7200, BTI 7060 and BTI 7020 platforms addressing access, metro and regional long haul applications with packet optical delivery, WDM, ROADM and photonic layer technology. There is common management and control utilizing the same software, control processing and cooling units.
• The MX-series was introduced in 2007 and has developed a broad feature set across switching, routing, broadband, MPLS and virtualization. Common models warehoused at DTC include the MX240, MX480 and MX960. As an Edge platform the MX full series Ethernet router with switching and security features supports a range of service provider, enterprise, mobile and residential solutions.
• M-series multiservice Edge platforms are found in global networks delivering advanced IP/MPLS services and other services over a single platform. The range of models spans from 5 Gbps up to 320 Gbps of transport throughput and includes the M7i, M10i,M20,M40e,M160 and M320 platforms.
• The EX–series of Ethernet network switches include the following models: EX2200,EX2500,EX3300,EX4200,EX4500,EX6200, EX8200 and EX9200. First deployed in 2008 and running on Juniper’s operating system Junos.
