This unit is fully independent and not tied to any specific OEM’s or other manufacturers. We operate globally and our product supply chain supports global / regional carriers, ISP’s, enterprise, broadcasters, government departments, repair houses, system integrators and OEM’s and trade clients. Telecom lifecycle asset management is at the centre of what we do!

Our Telecom After Market Services business began operating in the migratory space between the old and the new hardware running parallel in many networks while NGN (next generation network) migrations were taking place. These strategic projects, in many cases spanning years, require the existing legacy, end of life and manufacture discontinued hardware to remain in place for some time. The global secondary market in parts and platforms is driven primarily by the need for hard to find spares, cost effective price points for old technology and a stable supply of end of life products still in service ahead of a completed migration program.

DTC’s long established managed reverse logistics business and our tactical surplus buy back activities allow us to acquire in volume multi-vendor products still in demand in for operations and maintenance support of older installed networks. Migrations globally to NGN and fibre based networks are now releasing millions of tonnes of surplus fixed line and mobile equipment which if not re-used will be recycled. Our global and regional account managers are able to support AMS product supply needs with immediate awareness of availability, lead times and quotation to deliver across the globe.

The secondary pre owned after – market covers not only used refurbished product supply but also manages new unused equipment available to the market for various over supply reasons. There is a recognized ‘green’ environmental benefit associated with this type of product supply coming to wider awareness and linked to the circular economy. Re-use is directly linked to product life-cycle management, commodity production, the continued mining of minerals / precious metals, carbon emissions and energy / transportation environmental impacts. Re-use of secondary market products for specific operations and maintenance needs within our client base support a focus on social responsibility, stakeholder concerns and the wider circular economy, as it relates to the telecom industry.
