DTC’s secure principal warehouse is centrally located in the UK.
Security/Alarm System – The IAS (Intruder Alarm System) incorporates Sequential Alarm Confirmation and complies with the requirements of DD243:2004.
CCTV – Covers all external areas of premises and internal facilities including warehousing, Data Cleansing Lab and goods in/out area. CCTV is monitored in house by the Operations Manager and remotely by ADT.
DTC’s in-house Data Cleansing Lab offers a secure, fully automated and centrally managed erasure solution, using the industry recognised software Blancco. this next generation erasure solution meets the complex needs of customers and has the capability of managing multiple data storage devices simultaneously.
Following erasure, there is no existing technology capable of recovering the original data. In addition to the cleansing process, the software generates comprehensive reports to prove successful deletion. These tamper-proof and verifiable reports are an essential part of regulatory, compliance and legal auditing requirements. The software is certified by the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG), the UK Government’s IT security group. The approved version of software exceeded the highest security specifications detailed in the HMG Infosec Standard No: 5.
The yard is capable of loading and unloading Lorries and containers of up to 45ft in length.
The yard also has its own Weighbridge capable of weighting vehicles up to 45ft in length and is calibrated and serviced annually.
DTC has an Environmental Permit and operates a Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) authorised treatment facility. DTC can accept up to 75,000 tonnes per year. DTC have four large units in the yard which are used for the processing and treatment of WEEE.
