An introduction to DTC-Telecom
DTC-Telecom comprises two companies: DTC Ltd (est.1991) focuses on the recovery and recycling of telecoms equipment, and DTC International Ltd (est. 2005) supplies the global telecoms industry with quality refurbished voice and data products. Today, DTC-Telecom has expanded to include total asset management services. A company with global reach, we operate from Northamptonshire in the UK, where we have a 23,000sq foot warehouse and a large recycling facility.
By constantly expanding our products and services to a committed and loyal global customer base, we are proud to have set industry standards in quality, efficiency and corporate social responsibility, and to have gained awards from BSI (British Standards) in Quality and Environmental Management. The North American Association of Telecommunications Dealers has also recognised DTC-Telecom as an approved trader of telecoms equipment, enhancing our international reputation as a trusted industry leader.

Our Green Credentials
At DTC Telecom, we are committed to helping businesses protect the environment by safely disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. By recycling and reselling cost-effectively, we find the best possible solution for our clients. As leaders in our field, DTC Telecom is proud to have exceeded the demands of new environmental legislation. Our waste carrier licence proves we are trusted to handle controlled waste under the Control of Pollution Act. We are exempt from Waste Management licensing by the Environment Agency and all our processes comply with the WEEE Directive. Our major recycling plant is specifically designed for the correct disposal of obsolete telecommunications and data equipment. For example, up to 96% of metal content is reclaimed and cables are 100% recycled. All equipment is recycled in strict compliance with local government legislation and in accordance with our Duty of Care under the Environment Protection Act 1990. The BSI ISO 9001 registration reflects the quality of our recycling process. This is supported by a full audit trail from collection to disposal (inspection available on request).
