Corporate Responsibility
Our Green Credentials
At DTC Telecom, we help businesses protect the environment by safely disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. By recycling and reselling cost-effectively, we find the best possible solution for our clients. As leaders in our field, DTC Telecom is proud to have exceeded the demands of new environmental legislation. Our waste carrier licence proves we are trusted to handle controlled waste under the Control of Pollution Act.
We operate as an Authorised Facility licensed (ATF) by the Environment Agency and all our processes comply with the WEEE Directive. Our major recycling plant is specifically designed for the correct disposal of obsolete telecommunications and data equipment. For example, up to 96% of metal content is reclaimed and cables are 100% recycled. All equipment is recycled in strict compliance with local government legislation and in accordance with our Duty of Care under the Environment Protection Act 1990.
The BSI ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registration reflects the quality of our recycling process and is supported by a full audit trail from collection to disposal (inspection available on request). See our awards page for more information.

Just to let you know that I am very impressed with the efficient and professional recovery of the old Analogue equipment carried out by DTC Ltd. Would you please pass on my thanks to them?
Charlie
Our Company is very happy with the standard of work carried out during the removal of redundant equipment from the Digital Media Centre during refurbishment work. The work was completed in a safe manner without causing any disruptions and the site was left in a good order. Looking forward to seeing you guys on-site soon to take away more of our kit.
Keith
We had 2 of your engineers completing a kit removal on the 3rd August in Belfast (Steve and Ian). I just wanted to let you know that I was totally impressed by both their work ethic and professionalism. In all the work that has been carried out here in the last 10 years since I have been here, which involved removing and decommissioning kit, their work has been by far the most efficient. Please pass on my thanks.
Brian
We had a couple of engineers from DTC on site regarding the removal of all the old telephony equipment, There was a lot of kit as well as possibly the worse cabling I have seen. I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the engineers as they managed to do this with no impact to the office (which is small) at all. The building has recently undergone a huge refiubishment and the engineers were conscious of this and made every effort not to knock any walls or the inside of the new lifts. The room they removed the kit from was left very clean afterwards. I was very happy with their attitude and would be more that happy if they were involved in any work here in the future.
Simon
I am writing to inform you that the collection of old telephony equipment from Burnley Pension Centre has successfully been carried out and would like to comment on the professionalism of your staff in carrying out the removal. All three drivers are an asset to your company. Once again many thanks for the excellent service.
Ayyub
I can confirm that the removal of all the redundant equipment from Swansea has now been completed. All work has been carried out to a very high standard by DTC and their approach was very professional, with no input required from the First line service manager team on site.
